Top Game Music/Songs Part II

March 31, 2011

We’re back for some more music everyone! If you all remember a couple of days ago I did Top Game Music/Songs Part I and now it’s time for part 2 baby! Lets get on with the show!

Loco Roco 2 Theme (PlayStation Portable)

What are they even saying? Who cares it sounds good. Loco Roco is one of the first games to use its own language. A language that no one understands but sounds really good. You want some lyrics for this song? Here you go:

Bajumbo moi noi noi jecker dabatto bunkergait jun jun. Nora juerue-rotto pura-pura petto puraret dum dum. Understand anything, no? So didn’t I but it’s awesome to listen to.

God of War III – Rage of Sparta (PS3)

Do not, I repeat do not piss Kratos off or you will be hearing Rage of Sparta. This music brought a great sense of the atmosphere to the player with Kratos killing and putting an end to each god one by one.

So prepare for KRATOS!

Kingdom Hearts II – Friends In My Heart (PS2)

Really saddening music. This sort of music makes you reminiscent all the friends that have come, gone in the past and the ones that remain will truly be in your heart….by now. This music is played when Sora is reunited with Riku.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – Fist Fury (PS2)

Time for some happy music again. If anyone played GTA:VC they would know it had one of the best game soundtracks to ever be in a game. Well here is a song and band that Rockstar created purely just for this game!

I flocked school cause I’m hardcore!

Kingdom Hearts – One Winged Angel (PS2)

The battle with Sephiroth is one of the most difficult yet most satisfying. What makes it even better is the One Winged Angel music that’s playing simultaneously. One Winged Angel music to gamers is what Eye of The Tiger is to boxer, I’ll let you figure that one out if I know what the hell I’m talking about.

Tetris – Theme – (Gameboy)

Put on your dance shoes and let’s start dancing! Who can remember playing this on their huge Gameboy’s? Putting shapes (well not really shapes) into alignment to make one horizontal line. Very addictive music and very addictive game. Don’t be afraid to try it out as it has aged very well.

The World Ends With You – Calling (Nintendo DS)

One of the most under rated games and soundtrack. This was in my opinion one of the best under appreciated games on the Nintendo DS and so was the soundtrack. The soundtrack itself could blow you away and this is just or a DS game. If you haven’t played this game yet make sure you buy it right now, you will fall in love with it and its soundtrack. Especially Calling as it’s one of the most over used tunes in the game but I ain’t complaining.

Shadow of The Colossus – Dear Life (PS2)

I said this once and I say it again, Shadow of The Colossus has one of the best OST ever to be created for a game. Each piece of music sounds better than the rest. The one’s I’ve put up in part I and II are favourites. Hope you enjoy fighting the Colossi or hasn’t everyone done that years ago? Well hope everyone is ready for it on PS3!

That’s all for now. Maybe there might be a third part, but we shall see. Be sure to drop down in the comment what your favourite music is.

Top Game Music/Songs Part I

March 28, 2011

Hey everyone, it has been a very long time since I’ve last updated this blog and I won’t create a lame excuse to make you feel sorry for me (which you won’t anyway).  Just been lazy but all I ask is for your forgiveness gamers. All I ask is for forgiveness (which you won’t give anyway).

So there’s the boring part over and done with. I will today present to you, some of the top,  most inspirational music and songs that have been created during the years I’ve been gaming, which has been quite a while now. Please be sure to participate as I love to engage with the community as much as possible and have debates about the most interesting subject ever, gaming. If you’re either a casual or a hardcore gamer, we are one. If you’re a 360, PS3, Wii fan, let me say again, we’re one! We are gamers! So let us stand and what the hell is wrong with me, over with the show.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater – Snake Eater (PlayStation 2)

What a thrill this song really is, isn’t it? Who ever hates this song, they should hide under a cardboard box! This song is first encountered in the introduction of MGS3: Snake Eater. Hideo Kojima did a really great job with this game, but not just that, as you can see the music itself can very much enhance the overall experience of the game. You think of the game Snake Eater, you think of the song also.

Shadow of The Colossus – The Opened Way (PlayStation 2)

Hey! Look guys, the composer that only has one letter different to my surname, Kow Otani. Now if you have played Shadow of The Colossus you would understand how much of a beautiful score it has. Not only is it a unique blend of various of games put together but it just has something that will make you always remember it. Recent games have been trying to do this but none are really leaving you with what Shadow of The Colossus would have left you with. That’s questions and some happy memories. Now this song first begins while you’re battling your first Colossi. Really adds that intensity to the battle and I couldn’t think of more perfect music other than this to be played during that moment.

Is it just me or does this song just make you want to punch someone’s light out?

Kingdom Hearts – Dearly Beloved (PlayStation 2)

How could something so simple be yet so effective I wonder? Well Yoko Shimomura proved this by just creating Dearly Beloved. You’re first introduced to it as you enter the Kingdom Hearts menu. Very calming and relaxing music. Maybe this type of music should be played on a beautiful sunny day at the beach eating Sea Salt ice cream? And for those who’s hearts are filled with darkness, screw you!

The Legend of Zelda Theme (N64, Gamecube, Wii, DS)

So everyone, after hearing that who is ready to go on an adventure? Pack your sword, fill up your hearts and don’t forget your boomerang. One of the best theme songs in gaming you will ever hear. Very inspirational to hear this before you set out a goal you want to achieve or maybe play it while making a speech? It can be used in many ways such as while setting sail, before getting busted doing something wrong, as an alarm clock to school and even maybe while pouring cereal for breakfast?

Portal – Still Alive (PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3)

I’m making a note here. Huge success. Come on, who doesn’t enjoy this? Whoever has played this game would know if the cake was a lie or was it? That will always remain a mystery or will it? OK—I—WAS—-JUST—KIDDING—I—DIDN’T—WANT—TO—CONFUSE—YOU—BUT—EVEN—WHEN—YOU’RE—CONFUSED—I’M—STILL—ALIVE! Wow, were we just invaded there? Anyway, yes one of the most hilarious but very catchy songs to ever get into your head. Hey you guys angry because of what I did above? Well while your angry I’ll be ‘still alive’.

Metal Gear Solid – Alert Phase (PlayStation, Gamecube)

Watching porn and your mother opens the door to your room? This is the music that should be playing in your head. Back when Metal Gear Solid was released I used to make myself get caught so I can just hear this! MGS would bring back a lot of memories to the people who have played it. Crawling, hiding in lockers and looking at magazines. Just paradise.

Final Fantasy X – To Zanarkand (PlayStation 2)

“Listen to my story, this may be our last chance”. One of the greatest FF games to be released. In my opinion, FF games have been going downhill after X. For everyone who has played FFX knows how much of a great game it really is. Your endless journey with Yuna and co to Zanarkand. A very nice memory to hold for the rest of your life. The music itself is saddening and so is the theme of the game really. Very deep story telling in this one.

That’s all for part 1 guys. I’ll be adding the next part when I’ve decided the music itself. Hope you’ve enjoyed the resurrection of this blog. Don’t forget to comment and tell everyone what your favourite game song or music below.

Till we meet again.

Top 14 Video Game Quotes Of All Time

August 7, 2010

There are many games out there but not many manage to have quotes that will stick with you your whole life. Quotes are what makes games memorable. What you’ll find below is a comprehensive list that I’ve compiled with the funniest, poorly translated and most memorable quotes. Don’t forget to drop a comment, mentioning what your favourite quote is.

14. “Hadoken!” – Street Fighter II

Ryu from Street Fighter II on the Super Nintendo aka SNES. Battling with Ryu will allow you to hear the famous and overused Hadoken! Hadoken actually translates to Wave Motion Fist.

13. “One who knows nothing can understand…nothing.” – Kingdom Hearts

Ansem delivers this line quite brilliantly and even though Ansem does have various memorable quotes said through out Kingdom Hearts while you battle him (come open your heart, submit, all shall be), this takes the cake(but the cake was a lie).

12. “ZEUS! Your son has returned. I bring the destruction of Olympus!” – God of War III

What makes this quote really moving is how it’s delivered from Kratos’s character. You hear the anger and emotion in his voice while he speaks it. Yet many people say the line from God of War II is said better, yet I choose number 3’s.

11. “Hey! Listen!” – Zelda: Ocarina of Time

A very annoying quote this is. Imagine yourself trying to play Zelda and you’re thinking of how to solve a puzzle in the water temple, but then all you keep hearing is “HEY! HEY! Listen!”

10. “Do a barrel roll.” – Star Fox 64

This quote is pretty hilarious coming from Star Fox on the Nintendo 64. A plane doing a barrel roll….sounds foxy. Many songs have been released dedicated to this quote. Let’s all barrel roll to number 9.

9. “Do you know where I can find some sailors?” Ryo Hazuki – Shenmue

Not many people have played Shenmue on the Dreamcast but for the people who have will understand why this is on the list. Ryu Hazuki spends the first half of the game trying to gather information and what he mostly asks is “do you know where can find some sailors?” I remember myself being stuck in the game and asking the same question till 10pm game time, going back home and one of the family members tells me to stop being out so late at night. Gosh, I just wanted to know where the freaking sailors hang out! In the end, it turns out there’s a little passage that takes you to a bar.

8. “Its time to kick ass and chew bubble gum and I’m all out of gum.” – Duke Nukem

My name is Duke Nukem. A game that has numerous memorable badass quotes that still live on till this day. Always bet on Duke! Even though he has disappeared, but that doesn’t mean he will never make a come back. Anyway I’ve got no time to play with myself.

7. “Finish Him!” – Announcer, Mortal Kombat

After bringing your opponent’s health gauge to zero the announcer in Mortal Kombat will shout out Finish Him! No quote in a fighting game will ever overtake this very memorable quote. Maybe…..Fatality?

6. “Falcon Punch.” –  Captain Falcon, Super Mario Smash Bros

Falcon Pawnch! If this isn’t a memorable quote then what is? Once Super Mario Smash Bros was released, Youtube has been filled with videos dedicated to the Falcon Punch showing people being….Falcon punched. Thank you Captain Falcon.

5. “…But our princess is in another castle!” Super Mario

I remember myself being 6 years old when I played my first Mario game and each time I get to a castle, make Bowser fall in the pit of fire, the toad will always tell me the princess is in another castle! What is worse is if you zoom in onto the toad sprite, the bugger had his middle fingers in my face every time!

4. “The cake is a lie.” –  Portal

This was a triumph. I’m making a note here. Portal was a game filled with many memorable quotes but the most memorable in my opinion is “the cake is a lie.” I remember seeing it written on the wall near a corpse.

3. “Snake? Snake! Snnnnaaaaaaakkkke!” –  Metal Gear Solid

Snake are you there? Snake answer me! SNAKE? SNAAAAAAKKKKKEEEE?! My favourite game over screen and one of my favourite quotes ever! Every time Snake meets death in Metal Gear Solid, this very memorable quote will be said. What’s brilliant about it, is that it isn’t just said by one character, but depending on which character you’ve been talking to on the radio is the one to shout it out once you die.

2. “ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US.” – Zero Wing (Arcade / Genesis)

IN A.D. 2101, grammar was ending. The game consists of numerous grammar mistakes as the Chinese didn’t to bother hiring a translator or an editor? Game is good, but grammar not good. I didn’t don’t know what I say.

1. “War. War has changed.” –  METAL GEAR SOLID: Guns of The Patriots

The first line spoken in MGS4 by Solid Snake. The way David Hayter delivers this line is truly epic. In the game Solid Snake speaks this line and continues to talk about why the war has changed & how technology has advanced. This quote is number 1 for me. What is yours?

Post a comment.

Top Video Game Developers

June 21, 2010

Many game companies have been in the gaming industry but which game companies are worth a mention? Well here’s a list of the top game companies out there.

Clover Studios

Now these top dogs deserve a place because of making Okami. Not many games allow you to play as a god, but in Okami you get to play as Amaterasu. Amaterasu is a white wolf who has to restore light back in the darkened areas of Nippon. The game is a mix between, action, platform and puzzles. You also use the Celestial brush to execute attacks, draw bridges and much more! I remember the time where you are free to draw a face on a piece of paper and stick it on your face, you then roam around an ice cave with a piece of paper with your drawing on it, stuck on your face.

Atlus

Now these guys have been making some really awesome RPG’s lately. Take the Persona series for instance. I’d rather play that than any Final Fantasy that has been out within the last 5 years. They’ve also made a 2D RPG called Odin Sphere, which is another very addicting game. The persona series and Odin Sphere win this developer a spot on this list.

Konami

One of my favourite developers of all time. They’ve been making games for years, from football to the Metal Gear Solid series. This developer did not lose the plot like Capcom and Square Enix have this generation. This developer has delivered us games such as the Metal Gear Solid series, the Pro Evolution series, The Zone of the Enders series and some memorable DS games such as The World Ends With You (my favourite DS game). Also how about one of the greatest RPG series, Suikoden or maybe the classic game Contra?

Square Enix

This developer has really lost its touch this generation but we can never forget the classic games it made in the previous generation such as Final Fantasy I to X. FFX in my opinion was the final FF that was actually good. The rest were pretty boring, especially the worst one in the series FFXIII. They’ve also developed one of my favourite game series, Kingdom Hearts. Who would have thought Square Enix characters would be with Disney characters in one game? Well they are in this series. Lots of people talk about how the series seems childish, but I tell them to eat shit and die. What about the classic Chrono Trigger? It was also remade on the DS and it still was addicting to replay after all these years!

Santa Monica Studios

These bad boys brought us the God of War series and what a classic game that is. They were able to make Kratos’s character come to life with the latest installment in the series God of War III. They’ve also helped in developing another excellent online game which I’m sure you’ve all heard of, Warhawk. A game where you can use vehicles and run around spraying and praying. You have to give these guys credit for bringing these two perfect titles to the PS3.

Nintendo

One of the most respected and reputable game companies around. Come on, we all know Nintendo’s first party exclusives always turn out to be awesome. The recent Super Mario Galaxy 2 proves so! Nintendo was the company/developer that pretty much drove the gaming industry in the right direction. By introducing characters such as Mario, Kirby, Luigi, Donkey Kong and Samus! We all know how much we played on our Nintendo’s and SNES back when we were young. No matter what direction Nintendo takes forward, they will always have a soft spot in our hearts. Plus it introduced us to the Gameboy and along came with it another classic game Tetris.

They also made Wii Sports…..

Sega

What happened to Sonic? Doesn’t matter because the Sonic games were indeed really enjoyable back at the time where Mario was released. Sega and Nintendo used to be though competitors as both companies had a range of excellent titles. Anyone remembers Shenmue? Powerstone? ChuChu Rocket? Sonic Adventure? Although the Dreamcast failed in sells but it was one hell of a console. It was also one of the first consoles to introduce online gaming.

Capcom

These guys have lost respect from me and many gamers through out the years especially because of how much they love money! Then again I remember myself playing Street Fighter II on the SNES when I was 6 years old and I forgive them. From games such as Resident Evil, Marvel VS Capcom and Street Fighter, this game’s company has left its mark in the gaming industry although it has been losing its touch this generation.

Rockstar

These guys took sandbox games to another level with the Grand Theft Auto series. Nudity, drugs, violence you name it. Every game they create is controversial. Grand Theft Auto, Bully, Warriors and who can forget about the very violent Manhunt? Who knew that killing people with plastic bags can be fun or maybe slicing someone’s throat with a piece of glass. They also developed another classic game called Max Payne. A game that introduced slow motion bullet time during gameplay.

Valve

Aperture science. We do what we must because….we can. A games company that brought you games such as Half Life, Portal, Day of Defeat & Counter Strike. The longest game I played in my life was Counter Strike: Source. If I remember correctly I played that shit for around 2 years and wouldn’t get bored of it. The best adventure I had in first person shooters was when playing Half Life 2. Being Freeman and killing crabs with the crowbar, it can’t get better than this.

Okay let’s go.

Namco

This company will always be remembered for the awesome games it brought to the arcades such as Space Invaders, Pac Man and the fighting game Tekken. The company has died down along the years but it doesn’t mean it will be forgotten especially if the first games you played were on the Atari. Space Invaders with a huge joystick brings back memories.

Team Ico

The most innovative company in my opinion. These guys brought us only 2 games. Ico and Shadow of The Colossus. These 2 games brought new gameplay elements to the gaming industry and now every gamer would expect a game that’s totally different to the competition each time they are developing one. Now every gamer out there is anxiously anticipating The Last Guardian which without a doubt will be another great title to play.

Naughty Dog

Who doesn’t love these guys? If you were young when these guys were around you must have played Crash Bandicoot or the spin-off racing games or Jak & Daxter or Uncharted 2, which is game of year, of the year, of the year. These guys have been only improving since they’ve made Crash. A highly respected games company and who knows what they’re working on right now. Maybe Uncharted 3?

Blizzard

One game, World of Warcraft. I’m not much of a fan of MMO’s but this game must have made Blizzard a shit load of money and still is. Yet they still have previous games such as Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. Many games that PC gamers all around the world continue playing till this very day. Yet every now and then this games company will release an expansion pack for World of Warcraft so the experience never dies out.

Top PS2 Games That Should Be Remastered On PS3

May 29, 2010

Since the God of War collection was remastered on PS3 I’ve been thinking, there’s many more classics that were released on the PS2 that I would love to be released on the PS3 in high definition and include some trophies in there, that’s a dream come true. The God of War collection brought back some amazing memories while I played it. I’m sure you all know that feeling you get when you play a game you haven’t touched in years, it’s a really nice feeling. Anyway, here are the games that NEED to be remastered on the PS3 and hopefully Sony listens to us! Be sure to comment below as Sony will be emailed by me and although they might reply with we don’t have any plans to bring the games on PS3, I’m sure they will take it into consideration after reading what we gamers want, because at the end of the day we are who buys their games.

Grand Theft Auto Collection

Now how about that? A collection that evolved sandbox gaming once and for all. This series brought so many new things to the playground it was unbelivable. This is why it is one of the most famous and most lucrative series around. Imagine unlocking and hearing the trophy sound in GTAIII? I can just image it. Hopefully we see Claude, Tommy Vercetti and CJ return on the PS3.

Metal Gear Solid Collection

It would make more sense bringing MGS 1, 2 and 3 to the PS3 after MGS4 was released. This will give an opportunity to all the people that haven’t played the previous games in the series to do so and understand MGS4 and how great of a game it really is. I would love to have a run through MGS1 to MGS4 all on one console. Plus this will give a chance for Kojima Productions to finally release trophies for MGS4 and the collection.

Okami

Now I know this can’t be a collection and is just one game but it’s just that great. One of the best games I’ve played on the PS2 and one of the most innovative. I remember just going through the game restoring land to its original and beautiful colours. Now imagine how Okami would visually look in HD on the PS3. It would make Ōkami Amaterasu look like a god! Oh but she already is one, well you know what I mean.

ICO & Shadow of The Colossus Collection

We all know this is coming and I can’t wait to get it. Roaming around SOTC world in HD would be a wish come true or holding Yorda’s hand in HD. It’s awesome just thinking about the idea, imagine playing it. Plus this would all fit in perfectly with The Last Guardian being in development why wouldn’t Sony want to support its sales by delivering the previous games on PS3? Well at least we know this collection is coming.

Kingdom Hearts Collection

Bring back one of the best RPG collection on the PS2 to the PS3. Imagine playing as Sora or Roxas on the PS3? Maybe this collection will be released once Kingdom Hearts 3 reaches its final stages of development. Now I know Square Enix takes its time to make games so we can expect KHIII in a couple of years time, but hopefully it comes with the previous two games. Actually I hope it comes with KH: Final Mix and KHII: Final Mix in English. Yes I would love to see Sephiroth in HD.

Devil May Cry Collection

Now I’m not much of a fan of Devil May Cry 2, but 1 and 3 were just too damn good, especially 3. I would love to slash and gun down enemies in HD all over again with Dante. Also see how difficult this game is to platinum with it’s difficulty levels as I can just imagine it. Devil May Cry 3 was widely criticized for its high level of difficulty, so it would be pretty cool to try it out on the PS3 as there isn’t much challenge in games this generation.

Silent Hill Collection

The most scariest games I’ve played are from the Silent Hill series. Imagine doing it all over again but in HD? Imagine experiencing Pyramid Head all over again! I can just image hearing all those creepy noises and the game being silent most of the time until an enemies jumps at you screaming or you hear the creaky wooden floor you walk on until an enemy comes out of nowhere and makes you jump! Sony make this happen!

Jak & Daxter Collection

The best platforming series on PS2 in my opinion. Not many platformers can be fun anymore but this is one of my favourites. Also since there might be a Jak & Daxter 4, this would be awesome to be released all in one package. I also don’t understand why there has been numerous Ratchet & Clank games released this generation but no Jak & Daxter.

Final Fantasy X

I would love to play as Tidus for the millionth time but on the PS3. In my opinion Final Fantasy has lost its touch after FFX was released. FFX was the last FF I enjoyed and I really hope to play it again in HD and with some nice trophies please. Although I won’t be looking forward to playing Blitzball as I could never play that game to save my own life.

Now these are the games I really hope to be remastered in high definition. What games do you want to be remastered that isn’t on this list? Please drop your list below in the comment section.

Top 5 Badass Gaming Characters

May 12, 2010

Some games have really memorable characters that you just can’t forget and they will always be remembered. Each and every player out their has their favorite, well here are mine.

5. Sackboy – LittleBigPlanet

Sackboy is one of the baddest characters of all time. With millions of attires to impress the ladies with, Sackboy will always score. Sackboy has one of the most badass impressions in town, so do not mess with him unless you want him to get his paint ball gun out and paint you!

4. Liquid Snake – Metal Gear Solid

The clone of big boss, is one of my all time favourite characters. He’s my favourite character from the Metal Gear Solid series. Even though Solid Snake is the better clone, I just can’t pass that Liquid is just cooler. Solid Snake plays too much hero, although he still is one of the best characters around also. But in my opinion Liquid is better. He’s in Ocelots hand for god sakes!

3. Duke Nukem – Duke Nukem

Now here’s a force to be reckoned with. “I’ll rip your head off and shit down your neck”. Yep, always bet on Duke. Duke is famous for his one liners that are said through out the game. From I’ve got balls of steel to I love the smell of bird crap in the morning. This guy has got big guns and I cannot lie. Anyway it’s time to kick ass and chew bubble gum and I’m all out of gum.

2. Sephiroth – Final Fantasy VII

What a character we have here. Nomura really designed a great character and villain here. Here you have a character wielding a 68″ masamune sword with white long hair. He made his debut with Final Fantasy VII and then continued to be included in the spin offs and the Kingdom Hearts series.

1. Kratos – God of War

Here’s one mean machine. A slayer of gods, one who has come back from the dead twice, his only goal is vengeance and no one can stop him, neither the titans nor the gods. Anyone who got in his way met his brutality. Kratos, my favourite character in gaming since I always wanted a gaming character that isn’t merciful at all, that follows no one, that does what he wants and gets the job done and so the gods gave us Kratos.

And no I didn’t include Master Chief so bite me.

Top 10 Upcoming PS3 Games

May 8, 2010

The PS3 had one hell of a games line up in 2009. With E3 just around the corner I’m sure Sony has many surprises for its fans. Also who gives a shit about motion control? All this news about the Playstation Move and Natal is annoying. Why the hell wouldn’t you want to play games while just laying down on your bed or on a toilet seat? Modern gamers are stupid, so we’re taking it back old school with the top 10 upcoming PS3 games you can play with a JOYPAD!

10. Agent – Rockstar North

Not much is known about this game other than its developer and how it would be a similar sandbox game like the Grand Theft Auto series. When GTA was released Rockstar had said that they were restricted with how much content to include in GTAIV because of the Xbox 360. So Agent is like PS3’s GTA. I’m always looking forward to shooting up some hoes after everything is done and dusted. So Agent is a PS3 exclusive to keep a watch on. Agent earns itself a position at number 10 after ridding the world of some whores.

9. Modnation Racers – United Front Games

Ever felt like creating your own car and racing track then publishing it online and riding it with Nathan Drake or Kratos? Oh crap, well now you can. In this game you race and along the way you pick up weapons to use against your opponents. You can also customise your character, car, create your own race track and publish it online for others to race on. This game is a cross between LittleBigPlanet and Mario Kart. Plus this big daddy is being released very soon, so be sure to check it out. Oh and one last thing, you can expect a shit load of downloadable content for this game just like LBP. From characters to racing tracks. After shooting its way through with rockets, this game nabs 9th place.

8. Dead Space 2 – EA Redwood Shores

The previous game was one of the top survival horror games to be released this generation. With the sequal confirmed to be released in April 2011. The game seems to take place in a city rather than on just a ship this time around. The developers also have confirmed that the game will have new weapons and much better death scenes. They’ve also confirmed that Isaac’s armor will all look completely different, unlike the previous game where more metal plates where placed on each armor and only the last one being completely different. The developer still hasn’t confirmed if coop will be included in this game as of yet. Hopefully the final boss battle would be more epic and not only will it be slamming its tentacles down and you just strafe left and right to dodge them. Also hopefully we don’t have to fight a vagina again but maybe a penis? Only time will tell. Isaac plasma blasts 8th place.

7. Gran Turismo 5 – Polyphony Digital

The 5 edition to the highly acclaimed racing simulator. Now this game sells in millions and millions of copies around the word. It’s one of the most realistic and enjoyable racing simulators out there. With a make up over do, the cars and tracks look more realistic than ever! Also we have a game with most of the latest cars and a game that’s been in development for such a long period of time, it’s on the verge of being released sometime this year. Also a couple of days ago the game was said to be 90% complete, so this game will be racing to store shelves very soon. Expect Sony to announce a PS3 bundle with Gran Turismo 5. This title is sure as hell to make Sony big buck buck bucks! This game reaches the finish line at 7th place.

6. Fallout: New Vegas – Obsidian

If you were a fan of Fallout 3 you will most likely already know this game has been in development for quite a while now.  Ever wanted to gamble in Fallout 3? Well now you can, with the developer promising the choices you make will have a heftier price to pay and new gameplay features. This is definitely an RPG to look out for. The game takes place 3 years after the events of Fallout 3. So there could be some similarities in the story. The game is still set in post-apocalyptic times where nearly everything is pretty much destroyed and what you see is just the aftermath. Also the famous radio stations should be back in this one, so I don’t want to set the world on fire, I just want to set a flame in 6th place.

5. LittleBigPlanet 2 – Media Molecule

A very innovative game is about to get a sequel and MM is promising lots of new features such as the player won’t just be restricted to creating only platformer levels, but now can create shooters, RPG’s, adventure and other genres in gaming. With that said, think about all the possibilities that can be created in LBP2. Also all DLC content from the previous game will be transferred to the new one. What is even better is that this game is slated for a 2010 release. What’s even funnier is that this game was only confirmed a couple of hours ago. Hopefully slapping people can be more brutal this time round. Sackboy creates his way to the 5th spot.

4. Final Fantasy Versus XIII – Square Enix

If you are a PS3 owner and was let down by FFXIII, then you still have hope to feed your RPG hunger once this game is released. With the Kingdom Hearts team working on this , it really looks promising. Also this game won’t be downgraded to fit the 360’s capabilities as it’s a PS3 exclusive. So this game will pretty much prove how FFXIII should have looked or how much the game could have offered at the end of the day. Once this game is released, we will truly know how much the 360 held back FFXIII.

3. The Last Guardian – Team Ico

If you were ever a fan of Ico or Shadow of The Colossus you will know what to expect from Team Ico. A game that brings something new to the table. Something that’s innovative and something that a game that no other has done before it. From what we’ve seen in the trailers, you get to either control a little boy that takes care of a large god knows what sort of species it is or the god knows what species it is takes care of you. Not much in terms of gameplay features have been revealed for this game as of yet, but you should definitely expect this title to be at E3. Also if you’re a true gamer you wouldn’t care what kind of game this is, you should purchase it just because it’s by Team Ico.  The Last Guardian nabs 3rd place.

2. Infamous 2 – Sucker Punch

With Sony just grabbing the Infamous 2 domain a couple of days ago, this pretty much confirms this game is on its way. The first game was a truly a great new IP and I played both as evil and good and they were very entertaining. It will be interesting to see what kind of are direction the developers will be taking on with Infamous 2. Will you be able to carry on with the same powers as the first game? Will there be much more side features to do this time around in the city? All will be confirmed very soon!

1. Killzone 3 – Guerrilla Games

Yes I know this game hasn’t even been announced yet but it’s common sense that it will be announced very soon seeing all the rumous floating around about it, it seems that we may very well get this game sooner than we think. I’m going to take a wild guess and say this game will be showcased at this years E3 and we will be once again blown away just like how Killzone 2 blew everyone away once they saw the demo play on screen. The story of ISA VS Helghans shall continue, hh and I hope Rico dies in the first 10 minutes of Killzone 3, damn that character is annoying as hearing announcements about Natal & PS Move! The Helghan empire VEKTAPEDIA are No.1!
